STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: To mark UN International Year for Indigenous Languages, the members of Indian diaspora recited poems in 20 languages at the UK House of Lords. A poem in Dogri language and Takri script, titled ‘Jammu Di Chiddi’ was also showcased in the event. The poem has been written by Heena Mahajan, a budding poetess, who writes poems about Jammu, evil penetrating in society, current scenario and fictions as well. She has penned few poems in Dogri and about 50 poems in English. She has also written a book ‘Easterly Verses-Mystical Truths’, which has been published on a web platform Amazon Kindle. A booklet of poems recited on the occasion was also released during the event.
