SAMBA: Dogra Degree College organised recruitment drive in collaboration with Udaan for its final year students of graduation.
The college had their session 17-18’s first campus placement drive conducted by Suresh Kumar Project Manager Rooman Technologies accompanied by Akeel Ahmed Project Coordinator on Thursday. In all, 40 students of BBA, assembled in the college conference hall for the event.
Rajinder Kumar, Lecturer in Commerce, while welcoming the team discussed initiatives and plans of Training and Placement Cell.
Suresh Kumar made a presentation about the company, jobs in IT Sector, job profile and needed skills, salary packages and careers path. Finally 10 students got letters of expression.
Principal Bela Thakur congratulated the successful students and praised placement cell for proactive role in arranging jobs and conducting personality and communication development events for the students.
The programme was conducted by Aradhana Sharma, event managed by Arushi Salathia, Radhu Gupta and Sonia Gupta and student members of placement team.
Names of students getting the internship cum job offers are Komal Verma, Shubham Sharma, Sheetal Dogra, Amanjit Kour, Shubam Kumar Rashotra, Sahil Bavoria, Shubam Sumbria, Harpal Singh, Manminder Kour and Gurpreet Singh.
Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary Dogra Educational Trust, appreciated the initiative taken by Principal Dogra Degree College and the faculty members for conducting this placement drive in the College.
While addressing the gathering Mubarak Singh, Director Adm and Campus Dev. emphasised on the holistic development of students and lauded the efforts of the Project Manager for successfully conducting the placement drive.
