STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Director Information and Public Relations, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar on Saturday visited Red FM and Radio Mirchi Stations here. During her visit, head of these Radio Stations briefed the Director about the functioning of their Radio Stations. Interacting with the Station heads, Dr Sehrish said that DIPR is the Nodal Agency for government departments which is providing government schemes and programmes to the concerned for broadcasting. She asked the concerned to ensure that government advertisements of welfare schemes and others are broadcast from their stations during the prime time so that listeners are benefitted. She said that quality and content of programs should be maintained and proper monitoring be done so that national security, public order and communal harmony does not get affected. Deputy Director AV, Rakesh Dubey besides employees of the radio stations were present on the occasion.
