State Times News RAMBAN: District Information Centre, Ramban on Friday organized a debate on the topic ‘National Integration’ at Kamal Academy High School Chanderkote. Principal of the host school Abdul Khaliq was the chief guest while Chairman Kamal Academy Dharam Singh was guest of honour on the occasion. Anamika Rani was adjudged as top performer while as Khushboo Iqbal and Pooja Rani clinched 2nd and 3rd position in the debate competition. As many as 12 students drawn from different classes participated in the competition. The speakers deliberated on the subject and informed students about the importance of national integration. Appreciating the role of Information Department, the chief guest emphasized the need to boost national integration in India for ensuring security, integrity, prosperity and brotherhood besides accelerating the development in all aspects. Besides, a colourful cultural programme was also presented by artists and students. Later, certificates and trophies were distributed among the best performers.
