SRINAGAR: Director General of Police, Dr. S.P Vaid on Thursday sanctioned special reward of Rs. 9,74000 in favour of 209 wards of serving police personnel, who have secured above eighty per cent marks in the annual examination of class 10th and 12th during the academic session 2016-17.
The reward has been sanctioned out of Central Police Welfare Fund to encourage and boost the talented school going children of police personnel. Those who have been awarded include 105 students of class 10th and 104 students of class 12th respectively.
