JAMMU: Director General of Police Dilbag Singh on Tuesday issued promotion orders in favour of 11 Sub Inspectors and in-situ promotion in favour of 30 officers.
Eleven Sub-Inspectors from Armed Wing of Jammu and Kashmir Police have been promoted to the rank of Inspectors and one Sub Inspector from J&K Auxiliary Police has been promoted in the pay scale of Rs 35,900-1,13,500 Level-6 E vide PHQ order number 622 and 623 respectively.
Those who promoted include Khurshid Ahmad, Naiz Ahmad, Sajad Hussain, Jagjeet Singh, Nisar Ahmad, Menaz Kousar, Pooja Kumari, Annu Dutta, Rempy Khajuria, Ishah Mahajan and Anita Bandhral.
DGP also issued In-situ promotion order in respect of thirty officers who include two DySsP, twenty four Inspectors, and four Sub Inspectors in the pre-revised pay scale Rs 9,300-34,800 with grade Rs 4,300. The in-situ promotion in respect of these officers has been issued vide PHQ order number 626 of 2019.
The promotion orders were issued after Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) cleared these personnel for the promotions.
Those who got in-situ promotion include DySP (OPG) Veer Singh, DySP(OPG) Mohd Farooq, Inspectors Khudmukhtar Dev, Parviz Ahmad, Davinder Singh, Athar Samad, Reena Devi, Deepankar Singh, Farooq Ahmad, Mohd Yousuf, Tariq Ahmad, Sunil Gupta, Mushtaq Ahmad, Nisar Hussain, Gowhar Yaseen, Nasir Syed Kirmani, Zahid Hussain, Tahir Ahmad, Sanjay Koul, Anuradha Raina, Ramesh Kumar, Sameem Hussain, Riyaz Mustafa, Niaz Ahmad, Tilak Raj and Vijay Kumar and Sub Inspectors Shamsher Lal, Ishtaq Ahmad Akhoon, Sarwar Hussain and Farooq Ahmad.
DGP has congratulated the promoted officials and extended his warm greetings to their families. He expressed hope that the promoted officials will continue to work with more zeal and zest.
