JAMMU: Youth Congress activists on Thursday staged protest against the second anniversary of demonetization describing it as the biggest mistake of the Modi government. Led by Neeraj Choudhary, District President, DYC, Jammu (Rural), the activists assembled out RBI Office Bahu Plaza, Jammu and raised slogans against BJP Government.
Choudhary said that the draconian policy of demonetisation by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi brought black days and horror nights to the masses of whole nation and the innocent people were made to stand in long queues and even several people lost their precious lives due to strokes and even several people were subjected to cruel Lathi-charge by Modi administered forces which has diminished the faith of the masses of this nation who had voted for this government through democratic process. Choudhary said that demonetization was the biggest flop show of millennium where whole nation has passed through an era of financial crisis and every individual whether poor or rich has passed through a tunnel of economical and financial hurdles and obstacles and after a gap of two years, the possibility and probability of rising above crisis is equivalent to zero.
“The traders and business class had bared enormous losses till date and even will continue to face the same with rising graph. Whole nation is still in the grip of phobia of the huge tragedy of demonetization and even will take decades to rise above this crisis and it will teach this regime a lesson in 2019 through ballot,” he added.
