STATE TIMES NEWS DODA: An awareness programme was organized by District Employment and Counseling Center (DE&CC) in collaboration with J&K EDI Doda on Saturday. The camp witnessed participation of around 300 people from far flung areas of the district who were apprised of the importance of registration for the people associated with unorganised sectors of the economy. The registration forms for the same were distributed among the participants under Unorganised Workers Social Security Scheme (UWSSS). During the programme, J&K EDI also informed the participants about various State and central sponsored entrepreneurial schemes. Shayesta Sultana, Deputy Director Employment, emphasised the need for holding such programmes on regular basis. Officials from Social Welfare Department, Handicrafts Department and Handloom Department along with trainees and other social activists from the district attended the awareness camp.
