STATE TIMES NEWS RAMBAN: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Showkat Aijaz Bhat on Tuesday listened to issues of locals in far flung Chaka-Kundi area. Accompanied by ADDC Nawab Din, ACR Harbans Lal, ACD Zaffar Ahmed Banday, CMO, XEN PHE, XEN PMGSY, CHO and other officers and officials, the DDC took detailed appraisal of developmental requirements of the people. The DDC directed the ACD to develop water bodies, playfield and construct toilets at all religious places of the area. The ACD was also directed to prepare estimate for the construction of fencing around Middle School, Kundi. He directed the ACR to conduct a revenue camp for issuing certificates and attestation inheritance mutation on the spot and ensure presence of patwaris in their respective halqa for public convenience. The DDC also provided four LED street lights to each panchayt of the area. He redressed most of projected demands on the spot and directed the concerned to redress the problems pertaining to their respective departments within prescribed time. During the camp the officers sensitized the local public about the benefits of schemes of their departments including AYUSHMAN BHARAT, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna, National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP), Pradhan Mantri Shramyogi Maan Daan Yojana (PMSMDY), old age and other pension scheme etc. Earlier, the people raised various demands and issues being faced by them including construction of road under PMGSY, Delinking of various departments from Doda to Ramban, Upgradation of Middle School Kundi upto next higher level, opening of First Aid Medical Centre, Sheep and Animal husbandry centre, repair of HT, LT lines etc.
