State Times News DODA: District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr. Sagar D. Doifode, on Friday chaired a public grievance redressal camp to listen to problems and issues being faced by people in far-flung areas of the district. The camp held at Changa Community Hall in sub-division Gandoh today saw large participation of the people. Sub Divisional Magistrate Gandoh, Tehsildar Gandoh, ACD Doda, DPO Doda, PO IWMP, SDPO Gandoh, DSWO Doda, CEO Doda, Exen JKPCC, Exen REW, AD Handicrafts, Deputy Registrar Cooperatives, AEE PWD, AEE PHE, Tehsildar, BDOs, and other concerned were also present. Various deputations raised issues pertaining to macadamization of roads, inadequate staff in health centres, demand for free ration, release of pending payments of MGNREGA, compensation of lands, relief under SDRF for the damages by recent heavy rains and snowfall, check on absenteeism in schools, and up-gradation of schools etc. The DDC gave the deputations a patient hearing and assured them that all of their genuine issues would be looked into and addressed accordingly. Meanwhile, DDC visited Bathri where recent landslides damaged many shops. He also took stock of ongoing work at Sub-district Hospital Gandoh.
