RAJOURI: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Mohammad Aijaz Asad visited Army Ground, Sericulture Hall and Ashram and Sunderbani to inspect the arrangements made by different departments for Budha Amarnath Ji Yatra.
Ex Vice Chairman of Advisory Board for Development of Pahari Speaking People Kuldeep Raj Gupta, Executive Engineers of PWD and PHE, Tehsildar, Block Development Officer, EO Municipality, other concerned officers and volunteers of Amarnath Ji Yatra Seva Samiti were present on the occasion.
ADC Sunderbani Gurmukh Singh briefed about arrangements regarding stay of pilgrims, sanitation, healthcare, security, transport and traffic arrangements, kitchen sheds and dining halls, boarding and lodging of pilgrims. He further informed that first batch of pilgrims will reach at Sunderbani on August 17 which is the first halt for pilgrims in district Rajouri.
Aijaz Asad impressed upon officers deployed for Yatra duty to make necessary arrangements for convenience of pilgrims. He also directed for timely submission of details of pilgrims received at Sunderbani and then moving towards Rajouri.
