KATHUA : Rohit Khajuria, DDC, Kathua on Wednesday launched the Area Development Schemes (ADS) for dairy development and poultry development prepared by NABARD.
The schemes will be implemented during the period 2018-2023. A target of 1,035 units with bank loan of Rs.1023.45 lakhs under dairy development, and a target of 120 units with bank loan of Rs.336.60 lakh will be given to banks under poultry development during the above period in Kathua District. Targets will be allocated to different banks and will be reviewed in the quarterly meetings. This will certainly improve the CD ratio of the district.
The meeting was convened by. S.K Kandroo LDM and was attended by Vikram Dhanda (RBI), Madan Lal (NABARD), Sanjay Gupta (J&K Bank), Rohit Sharma (SBI), S P Sharma (PNB), R P Sharma (JK Grameen Bank), Arun Gupta, (Agri), Dr. Surjeet Singh (AH), Sandeep Singh (NRLM), Harvinder Singh (KVIB), Satish Rana, (DIC), Veer Bhan (KVIC) and senior officers from banks, Govt departments and Reliance General Insurance.
