KATHUA: Deputy Commissioner Kathua’s repeated aggressiveness towards district’s private schools seems to be biased due to lack of coordination and because of inexperience, alleged Jammu Private Schools and ETT Institutes Association-(Progressive).
“Firstly, it is the failure of our ruling/administrative class that failed to maintain the much old faith of masses in its sponsored schools with the result private sector has to come forward to fulfill the aspirations of people while facing a tough monitoring process of the authorities,” the statement of Association further added.
“Government and its administrative machinery must realise that every private school management works for its growth and can’t force any parent for paying a particular fixed fee and at the same time parents after satisfaction over the academic & other good conditions of a particular school made their mind for admitting their wards and in that case, allegations of cheating business have no strength at all,” the Association stated.
“To hide their failures in providing free and quality education to all, our ruling class has established a ‘Fee Fixation Committee against privates sector which has stopped the needed uplift of the private sector both on academic and infrastructural fronts as one has to face a long uphill journey to enhance the fee structure and in absence of needed enhancement, no school management can appoint good salaried teaching staff or upgrade its infrastructure,” Association alleged.
“If fee fixation committee has to monitor the fee structure then Deputy Commissioner Kathua instead of creating havoc like situation, should have been asked the erring schools to get needed approval from the committee,” Association expressed.
The association appealed to the Governor of the State for having a check on the biased administrative attitude of district administration that instead of sorting out the things with needed cordial coordination; just prefer a dictatorial style of function.
