STATE TIMES NEWSRAMBAN: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ramban, Nazim Zai Khan today conducted a public outreach programme at Gool to listen public grievances besides assessing the status of prevailing situation and availability of essential supplies and services in area. SDM Gool Gayas-ul-Haq, SDPO, Mohd. Rafi Giri, XENs of PHE and PWD, AD, Food, Tehsildar Gool and various officers of different departments and prominent citizens of area attended the camp. During the camp DC interacted with the Sarpanches, prominent citizens, besides general masses of surrounding areas of Gool. He also enquired about healthcare facilities and status of requirements and supply of essential commodities. DC directed the officers to ensure punctuality and regular attendance of employees in their respective offices and concerned departments were directed to ensure availability of essential commodities besides water and power supply in areas. He directed the BDO to organise meeting with PRIs to accelerate the pace of development and CMO was directed to conduct special camp for specially abled persons. The DC resolved most of the issues by passing necessary instructions to the concerned officers. He directed the officers to stay in contact with the people, pay regular visits and organize camps in all remotest areas to spread awareness about schemes among public. Earlier, people said that the residents of Gool area have always stood for the society and they believe in maintaining peace and promoting mutual brotherhood and harmony in the district. They assured their full cooperation to administration for same. They also apprised the DC about various demands and problems being faced by them including shortage drinking water, irregular power supply, correction of ration cards, constriction of foot bridges and KV school building, functioning of college building, shortage of staff in schools and hospitals, up gradation and blacktopping of roads, activation of mobile phone network, labour payments. Responding to the public issues raised by the people DC assured that all issues projected by them would be taken into consideration and every effort would be made to ensure a convenient and friendly atmosphere for all.
