STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS), Parade, Jammu said that shifting of High Court complex, from Janipur to Bahu forests, is neither in interest of litigants nor advocates and judicial staff. The DBPS members opined that traffic congestion at Janipur road is mis-conceived, because traffic problem is due to mismanagement of traffic which can be seen even during Sundays and other holidays. “Transferring of power of registration of documents is another unwanted step against which advocates have decided to go on strike,” Sabha members said and requested the Lt Governor to quash the proposal of shifting the High Court from Janipur to Bahu forests besides withdrawing order of transferring power of registration of documents from judiciary to Revenue Department. The meeting, chaired by President DBPS Ved Parkash Sharma, was attended by Pt V M Magotra, N C Sharma, M L Sharma, P C Sharma, Satya Nand Sharma, Shiv Ram Sharma, Jagan Nath, Subash Shastri, Gurdas Sharma, Sat Pal Sharma, Sunil Sharma, Jia Lal Sharma, Dr Som Dutt, K L Sharma, S S Baru, Romesh Sharma, Girdhari Lal Sharma and Raman Sharma.
