STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Ten-day food festival ‘Dasterkhan-e-Riyasat’ commenced here on Friday at Multi Cuisine Pavilion Restaurant at Cygnett Park Asia, Jammu and will continue upto March 24, 2019. While briefing media persons here, Naresh Dabral, Executive Chef of Cygnett Park Asia said, “J&K has vast variety of cuisines. We will try to serve all popular dishes, not only Kashmiri but Dogri, Bhadarwahi, Ladakhi and specialties from other parts of the State in a well-balanced menu at buffet. The idea behind the food festival is to explore maximum dishes in one go.” “It will be a lavish buffet dinner that includes welcome drink Kashmiri Kehwa, Seekh Kebab, Tabak Maaz, Nadru Churma, Dogri Zeera Paneer, Kaladi Kulcha, Aloo Tikki, Dahi Bhalla, Ladakhi Momos, Tigmo with Sapta, Thukpa etc. while other main delicacies include Muj Gaad, Roganjosh, Kaliya, Maas Kofta, Daniwal Korma, Rista Gushtaba, Yakhni, Dogri Khatta Meat, Tali Machhi, Murgh Kanti, etc. As always, there are many options for vegetarians too like Jammu Rajmash, Ambal, Niwada, Haak Saag, Kadam Saag, Gogji Nadir, Dum Aloo etc. while Kashmiri Phirni, various kinds of Barfi, Kaadhas and other local sweets will be there to make your day, followed by traditional Loun Chai,” he informed. “Our Chefs will be delighted to prepare each mouth-watering dish especially for our patrons.
