KOTRANKA: A camp regarding health and hygiene was organised at Bal Ashram, Budhal on Tuesday by Nadeem Ahmed Mir, Secretary Lok Sabha Youth Congress Committee, Farooq Inqulabi, Social Activist and Amit Sharma, Social Activist in cooperation with some other youth leaders of Budhal.
In the camp, the youth leaders distributed daily use items that include 100 tooth brushes, 100 toothpastes, 100 soaps and 100 school notebooks. The items were distributed among 50 students lodged there who were happy on receiving items.
Nadeem Ahmed Mir, in his address to students said that “Health is everything for a human being, without good health life is colourless and we must take measures to have good health always”.
Farooq Inqulabi said that ” Every religion teaches to remain neat and clean which will ultimately make us healthy and disease free”.
Amit Sharma said that “We will continue to organise such programs for helping downtrodden people of our society which is our moral and social duty”. The students put before them various grievances that include tuition facility, medical aid, sports equipments for playing indoor and outdoor games etc.
Nadeem Ahmed Mir after giving a keen hearing to all demands assured the students to take up the matter with higher authorities. Sajad Dar, Fazal Rehman Dar, Sukhvinder Sharma, Arshad, Gulsher Khan, Mohd Ishaq and Majeed Ahmed were also present on the occasion.
