State Times News KISHTWAR: A ten-days coaching workshop for GATE-2020 is being organised for the candidates of Kishtwar from November 18to 27, 2019. The programme, first of its kind in J&K, is being organised and sponsored by Chenab Valley Power Projects (CVPPPL) at Kishtwar specifically to prepare the candidates from Kishtwarto appear and clear the prestigious GATE-2020 examination. CVPPPL has roped in one of the best GATE Coaching institutes in J&K, M/s Pioneers Academy, to impart coaching to the candidates forGATE-2020 examination, which is being conducted by IIT-Delhi this year. In order to facilitate and benefit the candidates, the Company is providing start-up kit comprising of bag, stationery and study material-consisting 15 text books to the candidates for the 10-days Coaching workshop. The ten days programme was inaugurated in an impressive function at Kishtwar with lightning of lamp by the Chief Guest, Angrez Singh Rana, DC-Kishtwar, Mohammed Hanief Malik, ADDC-Kishtwar, P B Jain, Head of Project-PakalDul HEP , Sh. D P Maurya, Head of Project-Kwar HEP and other senior officers of Chenab Valley Power Projects (CVPPPL). D P Maurya, Head of Project Kwar HE Project-Kishtwar reiterated CVPPPLs commitment towards social and economic growth and development of the local people and the region. In his address on the occasion, the chief guest Angrez Singh Rana, DC-Kishtwar, appreciated the initiative taken by CVPPPL for the GATE aspirants of District Kishtwar. He urged the candidates to work hard, stay focussed toward their goal and take as much benefit as possible from the coaching workshop. The inaugural function ended with the vote of thanks by P B Jain, Head of PakalDulHE Project-Kishtwarand subsequently the stage was handed over to Dr. Sham Lal Gupta, Chairman Pioneers Academy and Former Director Colleges (J&K) to start the coaching activity. In his address,Dr. Gupta appreciated the good work done by CVPPPL for the benefit of Kishtwar region and also asked the students to benefit from 10-days coaching workshop to clear their doubts and queries related to GATE examination through active participation.
