Chandigarh: A Punjab and Haryana High Court judge has acceded to a request of a counsel to seek adjournment of a case while apprehending that the court was in bad mood .
Justice R N Raina also brought on record the request of counsel K S Sidhu when the matter came up for hearing before the court earlier this month.
The counsel requested for the adjournment of the case after he noticed that the court had already dismissed four cases prior to his.
In the February 4 order, Justice Raina observed, The counsel, assuming the mood of the court is bad this morning dismissing the first four urgent cases one after the other with orders dictated in court, prays that time may be granted to him to argue the case on some other day. I grant permission for an adjournment, but not without saying that those cases were not worth admission. (PTI)
