STATE TIMES NEWS UDHAMPUR : Residents of Ritti locality held a public meeting on Friday which was organised by Ashkey Kumar in which large number of people of Ritti and Barta participated. Senior Congress leader and State Secretary Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) Sumeet Magotra chaired the meeting listened to the public grievances. Appraising Magotra number of speakers highlighted that they are facing multiple problems since years in Ritti and Barta villages which include scarcity of drinking water, worst condition of link roads and irregular supply and low voltage. Magotra said that it is unfortunate that Ritti, Khu and Barta villages are adjoining Udhampur town and administration has totally failed to provide the essential services to the people. He also criticised the Ex- MLA Pawan Gupta for claiming the historic development of Udhampur Assembly Constituency but in fact he totally failed to deliver the goods. Magotra assured the people that he will bring their problems into the notice of higher authorities of administration for appropriate and necessary action in this regard.
