STATE TIMES NEWSSAMBA: Congress Party delegation led by former MLA Parkash Chand Sharma called on Deputy Commissioner Samba Rohit Khajuria in his office over the issue of water and power crises in Samba town and border villages. The deputation brought to his notice the frequent and unscheduled power cuts which have made the life difficult during hot weather. They further said that due to non-availability of power the pumping of water has become difficult for PHE creating water crisis also. Besides, the deputation also discussed other problems regarding completion of Sumb road, widening of tehsil office road, functioning of filtration plant near Chichi Mata temple and construction of Check Dam in villages for storing water. The Deputy Commissioner gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured them to address these problems at the earliest possible. Those present in the Congress deputation include Sanjeev Sharma Organising Secretary, Waryam Chaudhary Block President, Devraj Block President, Harnam Chand Bhagat and Vinay Bhushan.
