STATE TIMES NEWS LEH: Making a scathing attack on Congress, BJP State President, Ravinder Raina on Sunday said that Congress always exploited sentiments of people of Ladakh and backstabbed Ladakhis, whenever remained in power. Congress was never interested for development of Ladakh or its people which resulted in utter neglect of the region for decades together, Raina said while addressing a series of election rallies in Nubra Valley. Ravinder Raina along with BJP State Incharge All Morchas, Munish Sharma visited Diskit, Sumur, Partapur, Hunder and Khardung areas of Nubra Valley and addressed a series of election rallies in favour of BJP MP candidate from Ladakh Parliamentary constituency, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal. Raina further said that BJP led Modi government did a lot of betterment in Ladakh region and therefore all people in Leh, Nobra, Kargil and Zanskar areas are supporting BJP and Narinder Modi as the Prime Minister of India. He said that to keep on with ongoing pace of development works in the region, Bharatiya Janata Party has become the natural choice of people of Ladakh. Raina assured residents of Nubra Valley that BJP will keep on continuing the developmental works in all these areas and will provide all necessary facilities to residents. He said that the region has a capacity to be recognised worldwide as the best eco-tourism destination along with the development of local infrastructure for quality education, electricity availability, etc. with judicious use of resources. He said that with strong will-power of local leadership, along with the liberal support from Modi led Union Government, Ladakh will be developed on the most modern lines. BJP District President Dorjey Anchuk, Executive Councillor Sundup, Rigzin Lundup, BJYM State Secretary Tashi and other senior BJP leaders from the region were also present on the occasion.
