UDHAMPUR: Jammu and Kashmir All Department Clerical Association held a protest in the premises of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Office Udhampur in order to show resentment against the Govt. for ignoring their genuine demands.
District President of Clerical Association Gurdeep Singh along with members assembled in the premises of the CMO and raised slogans against the Govt. and Finance Minister for not fulfilling the commitment.
They said that unjustified statement given by the Finance Minister Altaf Bhukhari has irked the employees wherein he said that small issues like disparity of clerical cadre shall be resolved after release of Seventh Pay Commission while former minister had promised to employees to resolve the issue of disparity before implementation of Seventh Pay Commission. He said Finance Minister reverting back from promise already committed by the then minister. He urged the Govt. to redresses their genuine demands at the earliest. Other who addressed were Balbir Singh, Uttam Singh, Ashok Kumar, Chuni Lal, Mool Raj and Samit Kotwal.
