JAMMU: Concerned over the fast deteriorating situation in J and K and failure of BJP-PDP coalition to restore law and order, Harsh Dev Singh JKNPP Chairman and Former Minister sought imposition of Governor’s Rule in the State without any further delay.
Expressing serious concern over the breakdown of administrative and constitutional machinery in the State which had witnessed glorification of secessionists, frequent terror attacks, intensified ceasefire violations, assault on Amarnath pilgrims, civil unrest, clashes, public attacks on police stations and security forces in Kashmir, Harsh said that the ministers who ought to have come out of their hiding and made them-selves available to the civil society had deliriously shun their responsibility thus allowing the situation to further deteriorate.
Regretting that the separatists and anti-nationals had virtually taken control of the situation in the Valley, Harsh deplored the portrayal of Asiya Andrabi, Chairperson of DeM as woman achiever along with the women legends of the country and the State in the banner of Beti Bachao, Beti Padao during an official function in Anantnag recently.
Harsh asserted that since the sinister coalition was appeasing and placating the separatists for its vested political interests, it must be dismissed lock, stock and barrel. He urged upon the Governor, N.N Vohra to invoke Section 92 of the State’s Constitution to dissolve the Assembly and impose Governor’s Rule in the State to save it from further death and destruction.
