JAMMU: Central Ground Water Board, North Western Himalayan Region, Jammu under the aegis of the National Ground Water Research and Training Institute, Raipur, organised three days Tier-II training course on topic ‘Ground Water Development and Management’ here on Wednesday.
On the occasion, Dr V.S Manhas, Professor and Head of Department of Geography, Jammu University, was the Chief Guest while K.P Singh, Senior Scientist, CGWB, Jammu presided over the function. K.P Singh, Senior Scientist CGWB explained the need of multi-disciplinary collaborative scientific studies to manage our precious ground water resources.
Dr. V.S Manhas while addressing the gathering emphasized on the judicious use of ground water by using the latest technological advancements.
