STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: Birla Open Minds International School (BOMIS) Jammu on Wednesday organised career guidance and counselling session in the school campus. Principal, Sanchita Mukherjee informed that a career guidance and counselling programme prepares the students for the changing workplace of the 21st century by broadening the knowledge, skills and abilities, improving their decision making skills, increasing self-esteem and motivation. The helps in maximising the career opportunities and promoting effective job placements, the principal added. The speaker on the occasion was Rahul Dahiya who spoke on the topics Career guidance and Design thinking. To understand the cognitive capacity and emotional quotient of the students a psychometric test was conducted to guide the students towards the right choice of career and subject to follow.
