STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: A Division Bench (DB) of the State High Court comprising Dhiraj Singh Thakur and Justice Sindhu Sharma on Monday directed Social Welfare Department (SWD) to file response within three weeks in terms of earlier order whereby Division Bench directed SWD to give details as to whether all the beneficiaries who have submitted applications for grant of benefits and those who have already registered are being given benefits under concerned schemes or not and whether paucity of funds is acting as hindrance with the department. The court directions came in a Public Interest Litigation filed by Viklang Chattra Trust seeking better care of old age home. Advocate Sumit Nayyar appeared for the PIL.
