STATE TIMES NEWS UDHAMPUR: Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School Udhampur organised a ‘Rakhi making’ competition in the school premises .This competition include kite making, card making etc. The event brought out the best of the students used waste material for making these Rakhies and kites. The students also tied the sacred thread (Rakhis) to ITBP 15th Battalion and 137 CPRF and also distributed sweets among them. This endeavour is a symbol of universal brother hood and fosters the spirit of unity. Girl students tie Rakhis to their classmates and boys took pledge to protect their sisters and respect all women. In the end Principal Renu Sharma said such activities helps a lot to enhance the creative and innovative thinking among the students and helps to strength the bond between brothers and sisters.
