KATHUA: The Kathua Police on Tuesday arrested a burglar namely Ashok Jasrotia son of Suresh Singh resident of Ward No. 3, Krishna Colony Kathua and recovered stolen cash Rs.45,000 alongwith a mobile worth Rs.7,800 from him.
The arrested burglar is further being questioned to have clue on the burglary that had taken place during the past. The accused person was wanted in case FIR No. 263/2015 under section 457/380 RPC of PS Kathua.
Meanwhile the police intercepted a Tractor bearing registration No JK08B 7339 loaded with 240 bags of cement illegally imported for evading Tax.
The tractor and the driver Talib Hussain son of Shapaya Din resident of Bhag Thali, Kathua were handed over to Deputy Commissioner Sale Tax, Lakhanpur for further couse of action.
