JAMMU: State owned telecom giant Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced simplified reverification process for existing mobile customers including NRls, senior citizens and differently-abled persons.
The senior citizens above 70 years as on January 1, 2018 and differently-abled persons whose Aadhaar Number does not have mobile number registered with UIDAI or have Aadhaar but unable to do biometric authentication can use the web based application for completing the re-verification process. The NRI customers not having Aadhaar Number or his or her Aadhar Number does not have mobile number registered with UIDAI can access verification page from the BSNL Corporate website for completing the verification process, release issued by BSNL said.
Meanwhile, BSNL has also introduced the promotional offer for smart phone users under GSM mobile services on PAN India basis with effect from January 5, 2018.
Under this offer 3G Smart Phone users who have not used BSNL GSM Data services previously will get the benefit of 2 GB free Data with 30 days validity. Smart Phone users who have not used GSM Data services previously will get this benefit for availing services from BSNL, release said.
