STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Inspector General BSF Jammu, N.S Jamwal on Monday inaugurated 20th Pension Adalat at Frontier HQ BSF, Paloura Camp Jammu. Around 400 pensioners of BSF, who came from all over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab, registered their grievances regarding pension related issues on the occasion. A number of senior BSF officers and Account Officers from Pension Revision Cell Delhi were also present on the occasion. While addressing participants, IG BSF said, “We are always committed for welfare of pensioners and their families. Pension Adalat is one of the mechanisms for retired force personnel through which they can take up all pension related grievances. With the help of such localised camps, all the highlighted grievances are addressed at a place, without going to higher authorities.” During the inauguration ceremony, the pensioners raised a number of issues including implementation of One Rank One Pension, establishment of Pension Cell at frontier level, disparity in pension in comparison to other forces, issuance of canteen card, facility of BSF grocery ration through stores etc. On the occasion, a medical camp was organised for participants and their families.
