STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: The Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS) felicitated various personalities who contributed for successful conduct of 2019 annual Shobha Yatra, taken out on Bhagwan Parshuram Jayanti, during a Samman Samaroh organised in Sabha premises here on Sunday. The programme was held under the chairmanship of Ved Prakash Sharma, President DBPS. On the occasion, Member Human Right Commission, Chander Mohan Sharma was the Chief Guest, while Corporators Narotam Sharma, Ajit Angral, former Deputy Commissioner B S Jamwal and social activist Subash Shastri were the Guests of Honour. The representatives from Akhil Bharatiya Dharam Prachar Samiti, Dharmik Yuvak Mandal, Baba Bhair Dev Sthan Trust, Shri Sanatan Dharam Natak Samaj, Braham Kumari Ashram, Tawi Andholan, Taekwondo Association, Satsang Prachar Sewa Mandal, Yog Vidhant Sewa Samiti, Scout and Guide Association, Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Welfare Committee and Oriental Academy were honoured on the occasion. Special Correspondent Amar Ujala, Sanjeev Dubey was also felicitated for his contribution in the field of journalism. While addressing gathering, the speakers highlighted teachings of Bhagwan Parshuram and urged people to follow the same. Sabha Vice-President Virendar Mohan Magotra, Satyanand Sharma, Jagan Nath Sharma, Sunil Sharma, Nanak Chand Sharma, Mohan Lal Sharma, Ramesh Sharma, Shiv Ram Sharma, Barita Ram Sharma, M L Padha, Gurdas Sharma, Jia Lal Sharma, S S Bharu, Prem Balotra, Som Nath, Devinder Sharma (Babu), Rajesh Badgotra, Gopal Sharma, Satpal Sharma, Raman Sharma and Satpal Khajuria were also present on the occasion and paid rich tributes to Bhagwan Parshuram and Acharya Chanakya.
