JAMMU: Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) Jammu and Kashmir is going to participate in a national level protest scheduled to be held at New Delhi on November 17, 2017 against the anti-labour policies of Central Government.
Subash Verma, state President BMS, in a statement issued here on Tuesday, criticised the State Government’s move for diluting the labour laws in the name of Ease of Doing Business. He demanded workers representation in the NITI Ayog, implementation of Supreme Court decision on Equal Pay for Equal Work, uniform minimum wages all over the country, regularisation of Aganwadi, workers etc. More than 500 workers from Jammu and Kashmir are going to participate under the banner of BMS, he added.
