STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: To promote the traditional culture of J&K and to make aware the people, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) staged 270th musical play ‘Doli’ here. The play was staged in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production and National College of Computer Education as parts of its regular feature on theme ‘Save Girl Child’ at Durga Bhawan Janipur Jammu. The play was inaugurated by Dr Anju Dogra, Health Department, J&K Government. V.K Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India; Dr Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, Health Department; Vinod Dogra, Chief Service Engineer Exide and R.P Amla, Event Director were the Guests of Honour. The chief guest lauding the role of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthanand underlined the importance of staging such plays in all parts of the State to generate awareness among the masses about various social evils through theatre which are still very powerful medium of communication. The play was written, produced and directed by M.L Dogra, Chairman, BLSKS. Among those who performed in the play included Usha Handoo, M.C Kotwal, Raju Bajgal, Rajni Gupta, Kuldeep Raj, Sumeta Bhat, Chahat Chadha, Sahil Gill, Deevam Jandiyal, Bhumika Chib, Azen Ali, Mehak Sharma, Kritika Sharma, Nisha Arora, Kamli Devi, Manish Kerni, Vansh Raina, Megha Raina and Sanvi Raina.
