POONCH: A blood donation camp was organised on Thursday at Distt. Hospital Poonch by the volunteers of All India Sunni Youth Wing, Poonch including a female donor.
Brig. A.S Pendharkar, Commander 93 Inf. Brigade and Grand Mufti of Poonch, Molana Farooq Hussain Misbahi graced the occasion and encouraged the donors of the said wing especially Shazia Pathan. Pendharkar not only applauded the efforts of the wing and volunteers for organising such camps but also congratulated its provincial president Ajaz Ahmed Madni and assured his full cooperation to the All India Sunni Youth Wing in such endeavours.
Speaking on the occasion Mufti Farooq Hussain Misbahi appreciated the cause and boosted the youths for such kind gestures to save the lives by donating blood and motivating their fellow brethren for such pious cause. He also congratulated the youths for coming here in large number to donate blood.
Provincial President All India Sunni Youth Wing, Ajaz Madni while speaking to media persons said that the main purpose of this camp was to save blood for the victims of ceasefire violation on LoC. He further said that many precious lives irrespective of caste, creed and colour could be saved by donating blood. He stressed the general society for organising more such camps in the area because the requirement of blood has always been high in the State due to ongoing militancy and insurgency especially during the ceasefire violation.
