BISHNAH: Amid COVID-19,
continuing its endeavour to weed out social crime from the society and in a bid
to ensure hassle free supply of essential commodities to the people, Bishnah
police arrested one person for black-marketing cooking gas meant for the public
and recovered 21 domestic LPG cylinders, 1 commercial cylinder and 19 handigas
cylinders (8 filled and 32 empty), from his possession.
As per the details, Pritam
Sharma, son of Rishi Kumar, resident of Jeevan Nagar, Amul Milk Gali, Jammu was
arrested after a specific information was received by Police Station Bishnah. A
team headed by SHO Insp. Deepak Pathania, under the supervision of SDPO R.S
Pura Shabir Khan, SP Hqrs Jammu Adil Hamid and overall supervision of Dhar
Patil, SSP Jammu conducted the aforesaid raid at W.No.1, Bishnah and arrested the accused.
A case vide FIR No.57/2020
under Section 3/7 ECA, 1955 read with LPG (Regulation of Supply and
Distribution) order, 2000 has been
registered at Police Station Bishnah.
