STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: BJP Refugee Cell organised an awareness programme on Clean & Green Earth under Sewa Saptah at Ward No 73 at Government Girls Middle School, Kotha Bhour. BJP State Spokesperson Pt Ashok Khajuria was the Chief Guest and the main speaker of the programme. Balbir Singh Head Master of School, Refugee Cell Convenor Vikas Sharma, Vijay Sharma, Bharat Sharma, Netar Parkash, Hem Raj (Retd ZEO), Rohit and Sanjeev Gupta and staff members of the school along with the students were present in the programme. Ashok Khajuria, while addressing, emphasized on not using polythene bags and decreasing the use of any type of plastic particularly neglecting the use of Single Use of Plastics (SUP). They also emphasized on planting more and more trees to save life on earth as oxygen scarcity has become biggest threat to human life. Later, track suits were also distributed on the occasion to the meritorious students; whereas sets of note books were distributed to all the students of school in presence of prominent persons of the society.
