JAMMU: Led by BJP State President and MLA Sat Sharma, State BJP condoled sad demise and paid rich tributes to the Union Minister of State for Environment, Forests and Climate Change (Independent Charge) Anil Madhav Dave, who died yesterday after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest.
Throwing light on his life, Sat said that Dave was born in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh and began his political career taking part in the JP Andolan and was elected as College President. Dave was a cadet of NCC and a dedicated RSS activist. He was particularly concerned about the environmental issues and also worked for conservation and cleanliness of the Narmada River.
Terming the demise of Dave as an irrepariable loss, BJP State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul said that Dave remained unmarried whole life to dedicate himself for the cause of the society and nation.
“We all pray to God to give Moksha to his Atma,” he added.
Later two minutes silence in the memory of the departed soul was observed after which all present on the occasion paid floral tributes on his portrait.
BJP State General Secretary, Harinder Gupta conducted the proceedings on the occasion.
Party leaders Parmod Kapahi, Dr Narinder Singh, Rashpal Verma, Vikram Randhawa,Sanjay Baru, Ghulam Ali Khatana, Chander Mohan Gupta, Balbir Ram Rattan, Arvind Gupta, Viranderjeet Singh, Prof Virender Gupta, Jaidev Rajwal, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Dr Tahir Choudhary, Suraj Singh, Pardhuman Singh, Sanjay Khanna, Ayodhya Gupta, Baldev Singh Billawaria and Naresh Sharma also paid their tributes.
