JAMMU: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) said that the Bandh call given by Congress against the hike in fuel prices is the failure of BJP Government ruling under the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi who did nothing but fleeced the countrymen in one way or the other.
In the meeting held here on Thursday, President AIBCU, Abdul Majid Malik said that when 15 foreign countries like England, Australia, America, Malaysia and Israel are being given petrol at Rs 34 per litre and diesel to 29 countries at the pittance rate of Rs 37 by India then why the BJP Government is looting its own countrymen by providing petrol at Rs 80.87 per litre and diesel at Rs 70.97 per litre which had promised for bringing Achhey Din.
To satisfy the urges of the countrymen, Malik said mind-set has to be changed by bringing changes in its policies otherwise Bandhs, secularism slogan and assurances for better ruling would be nothing but a parallel BJP like policy which is doing false propaganda of giving due rights to the OBCs.
Sandokh Chand, Gurmeet Singh, Principal Darshan Lal, Teli Akbar Ali, Najam-ud-Din; Raj Kumar, Darshan Lal and M.R Bangotra were also present.
