JAMMU: J and K BJP led by its State President and MLA Sat Sharma celebrated the triumph of party in the Assembly elections of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh while dancing to the tunes of traditional Dhol, bursting crackers and distributing sweets.
Speaker Kavinder Gupta, State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, State General Secretaries Dr. Narinder Singh and Harinder Gupta, Ministers Abdul Ghani Kohli, Priya Sethi, MLCs Ashok Khajuria, Ch. Vikram Randhawa, Charanjit Singh Khalsa, MLAs Rajesh Gupta and Ravinder Raina were also joined the celebrations at Party Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar.
BJP State Vice-Presidents Yudhvir Sethi, Parmod Kapahi, Karan Singh, Bharat Bhushan Bodi, Rajni Sethi, State Secretaries Sanjay Baru, Aseem Gupta, Rajinder Sharma, Anuradha Charak, State Spokespersons Brig. Anil Gupta, Prof. Varinder Gupta, S.S Bijral, Vice-Chairpersons Balbir Ram Rattan, Manish Sharma, Varinderjit Singh, Naresh Dogra, Baldev Singh Billawaria, Ayodhya Gupta, Rajiv Charak, Arvind Gupta, Jugal Gupta, Suresh Sharma, Rakesh Mahajan, Parduman Singh, Kulbhushan Mohtra, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Rajinder Singh Chib, Veena Gupta, Ajay Vaid, Karan Sharma, Vinay Gupta, Prem Gupta, Kuldeep Magotra, Shailja Gupta, Sheila Handoo, Veenu Khanna, Moulvi Tariq and Monika Gupta were also present.
BJP District Unit also celebrated Party’s victories at Kacchi Chawni Jammu. District Office bearers, Mandal Presidents and activists of Maheela Morcha in large numbers participated enthusiastically in the programme.
District President BJP, Baldev Singh Billawaria said that BJP’s victory in Gujarat and Himachal heralds a new era of political activism in India and has further paved the way for Congress Mukt Bharat.
As the news of BJPs success in Gujrat and Himachal elections started pouring in a victory march was organised in Jammu East Constituency.
The march was led by the MLA Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta and a large number of party activists and leaders participated. The rally passed through various bazaars of the Jammu East including Lakhdatta Bazaar, Kanak Mandi, City Chowk, Link Road and Kachhi Chawni.
Kanak Mandi Traders Association members Anoop Mittal and Vipan Gupta, Lakhdatta Bazar Association member Kartar Gupta, Purani Mandi Traders Association member Rakesh Gupta, Moti Bazaar Traders Association member Chandan Gupta, Pacca Danga Traders Association member Harish Gupta and Kali Jani Traders Association member Ajay Sawhney, Prof Sham, Sanjay Mahey, Parveen Kerni, Rajinder Gupta, Ashwani Sharma, Rajesh Nischal, Rajkumar, Vikram Sawhney, Sunny Sehgal, Surinder Anand, Anita Gupta, Pardeep Sharma, Balkrishan and Subash Anand were also present.
Lawyers also celebrated the victory of BJP in the Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh assembly polls. The victory celebrations were also held in the J&K High Court complex Jammu.

BJP District Incharge Jagdish Raj Bhagat and other members of BJP unit Akhnoor distributed sweets among the people.
Senior BJP leader and MLC Pardeep Sharma along with party workers celebrated BJP big win in Poonch.

As the results of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections showed victory for the BJP, party cadres from Doda unit got into celebration mode. Members of the BJP and their supporters waved party flags and distributed sweets. District President Advocate Manjeet Razdan, Raj Singh Kotwal Distt Vice President, Raj Singh Charak, Bal Krishan Kotwal, Koushal Kotwal, Mahilla morcha President Satya Devi, Sorab Gupta and Sanjay Saraf were present on the occasion.
