STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Naib-Sarpanch Surinder Kumar on Friday filed nomination for BDC for Marh block along with Aseem Gupta State Secretary BJP and Prabhari Jammu Rural. He was accompanied BJYM State President Vikas Choudhary and many Sarpanchs and Panchs. On the occasion, Aseem Gupta thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for empowering people by conducting BDC Election at grass roots level. Surinder Kumar thanked party cadre for giving him mandate and showing faith in him and requested all Sarpanchs and Panchs of Marh block to vote in favour of him. In Satwari Block, BJP candidate Panch Narwal Bala, Ward No. 5 Arifa Bano also filed nominations papers for BDC elections. BJP State Vice-President Ghulam Ali Khatana, MLC Ch. Vikram Randhawa, District President and JMC Councillor Baldev Singh Billawaria, Ankush Mahajan, Binu Gupta, Munshad Bibi, Rekha Mahajan and other prominent BJP leaders were also present on the occasion. Khatana and Randhawa said that the educated and youth candidate Arifa Bano is well determined to serve the masses with all her might. They expressed hope that she will develop the block on most modern lines with the best utilization of available resources. Arifa Bano, thanked BJP leadership and all the supporters for the expression of faith and said that she will leave no stone unturned to give pace to development works. Biki Sharma also filed nomination for BDC election from Block Barnoti, District Kathua in presence of Jai Dev Rajwal (State Incharge IT & Social Media), Sanjeev Manmotra (State Co-Incharge IT & social Media), Updesh Andotra State Mahila Morcha, Manjeet Jasrotia State Incharge IT & Social Media and Som Raj Sharma (Prabhari District Kathua IT & Social Media).
