STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Lambasting BJP for betraying electorates by not fulfilling the promises made during 2014 elections, Shiv Sena (Bala Sahib Thackeray) on Sunday said that BJP is making fool of people by seeking their opinion for its manifesto. Speaking during a Mohalla meeting organised at Mishriwala here, State President, Dimpy Kohli and State General Secretary, Manish Sahni said that BJP had attained power on rhetoric of ending discrimination with Jammu but despite voices against discrimination during PDP-BJP coalition Govt, the party acted as a mute spectator. He said that BJP did nothing for welfare of Jammu people during its three and half years rule in J&K. BJP even failed to introduce bill related to delimitation commission during its regime and now its leaders are befooling people of Jammu on the name of development, he added. Sahni asserted that ‘Bharat Ke Mann Ki Baat, Modi Ke Saath’ and seeking public opinion for its manifesto is another jumla of BJP meant to befool people. Sahni further said that the BJP’s time is over and the party should pack its bags from Jammu and Kashmir. He appealed to the Prime Minster, Narendra Modi to announce delimitation commission in J&K before elections, which is the only solution to end years-old discrimination with Jammu. During the meeting, a number of people especially youth, joined the Shiv Sena, which included Ganesh Lal, Ashwani Kumar, Vikram, Chaman Lal, Tilak Raj, Rani Kumari, Raj Kumari, Veena Devi, Kamlesh Devi and Babli Devi. During the meeting, Ganesh Lal was appointed as Block President and Rani Kumari as Mahila Wing President for Block Burn, Maseet Mohalla, Mishriwala. Welcoming the newly in the party fold, Kohli hoped that their joining would further strengthen the party at grass-root level. Others present on the occasion included Romesh Koul, Harsh Kumar Gupta, Surjet Singh Chib, Raj Singh, Vikas Bakshi, Raju Salaria, Raju Chowdhary, Mangu Ram, Sunny Jamwal, Ravinder Singh and Rohit Anand.
