STATE TIMES NEWS KATHUA: A biker was died while a minor boy including two got injured in a road mishap at Kathua on Monday. As per the details, a motorbike without registration number driven by one Abdul Majid, son of Alam Din, resident of Mahi Chak on way from towards Nagri hit a minor boy namely Harsh (4), son of Onkar Nath, resident of Sumwan Kathua. In accident minor child got injured while motorbike rider Abdul Majid and pillion rider namely Mohd Yusuf, son of Gulam Ali, resident of Nagri also received minor injuries. With the help locals, injured child and both Abdul Majid and Mohd Yusuf were shifted to District Hospital in a private car of one Jagir Singh. Harsh, the injured boy was given medical treatment and was later referred to GMC Jammu. Amidst the treatment of minor boy in hospital, Abdul Majid, the rider of the motorbike also got fainted in the hospital and later died, despite immediate medical attention by the DH Kathua. A case vide FIR No 125/ 2019 under sections 279, 337 and 304A was registered at Police Station and postmortem of the body got conducted by board of doctors in DH Kathua to ascertain the cause of death.
