STATE TIMES NEWSLEH: Continuing its efforts to foster cordial relationship and cooperation with civil population under ‘Operation Sadbhavna’, the Fire and Fury Brigade provided various store-items for villagers of Alchi and Hemishukpachan. A ceremony in this regard was held at Alchi village Community Hall on Friday, which was presided by Brig Sanatan Singh, Commander Fire and Fury Arty Brigade on behalf of Fire and Fury Corps. A similar ceremony was held at Hemishukpachan, which was presided over by Col Vinayak Mishra, Deputy Commander Fire and Fury Arty Brigade on behalf of Fire and Fury Corps. Under ‘Operation Sadhbhavna’, Army reiterated its stand to maintain mutual support between Armed Forces and civil population. A number of items including tarpaulins, carpets, sofa-sets and tables were procured and handed over to villagers through their Sarpanchs. Sarpanch Hemishukpachan, Tsewang Rigzin and Sarpanch Alchi, Sonam Dolma expressed gratitude towards the army for their contributions to their respective villages and assured full support to the Army from civilians, whenever required.
