STATE TIMES NEWS DODA: To promote sports activities and all-round development of children, army provided sports equipment to Ganai-Tul-Uloom Madrassa at Gundoh. A majority of population in Bhaderwah region resides in remote areas and is devoid of basic amenities and infrastructure. During interaction with the locals and the Headmaster of Ganai-Tul-Uloom Madrassa, Gundoh, request for provision of Sports equipment to the school was made. In order to promote sportsmanship amongst students of remote areas of Gundoh and nearby villages, a need was also felt by the Army for provisioning of sports equipment to the school. The Project will be of immense help to the school authorities in imparting sports and games training to the students of this remote area. Approximately 1500 students of Ganai-Tul-Uloom Madrassa, Gundoh and nearby villages will benefit from this project. On the occasion Commander 4 Sector Rashtriya Rifles addressed the students of Madrassa and appreciated the eagerness and enthusiasm of the children towards sports activities. Students were delighted and expressed their gratitude towards this noble initiative of the Army.
