HIRANAGAR: Army paid compensation to resident of Hiranagar whose house was damaged due to field firing in the ranges. Station Commander of Basholi and Janglot Garrison handed over a cheque of Rs 17,600 to Ratno Devi, resident of village Kadater (Parangoli), Teh Hiranagar, as compensation towards the damaged house. Sarpanch of the village and other eminent persons were also present. The locals were very thankful to the army for this gesture.
Keeping in view the plight of the distressed family, the Rising Star Corps had taken up this initiative to resolve the case of compensation.
