STATE TIMES NEWS RAMBAN: Army in its efforts to reach out to the local populace of the remote areas under Mission Reach Out initiative, organised a veterinary Camp in collaboration with Animal Husbandry Department, Ramban at Khari Tehsil of Ramban District. The veterinary camp was organised with the aim of providing basic veterinary facilities to the livestock of people living in remote areas of Ramban district, who otherwise lack access to such facilities. A team of Army personnel, Veterinary Doctors and a Pharmacist from State Veterinary Dept provided treatment to animals during the Camp. Veterinary medicines were distributed as part of veterinary health awareness initiative. The camp catered for all types of veterinary ailments faced by local livestock and domestic animals and helped augment the veterinary services in the area. The Veterinary camp was organised as a humanitarian initiative by Indian Army. The local populace appreciated the efforts of the Army by expressing their gratitude and desire for more frequent veterinary camps in the future.
