State Times News Reasi: Army organised a Medical Camp for the benefit of the local populace of Sarsot and Siyal village. A total of 1275 patients including men, women and children of all ages were provided medical treatment and medicines. A lecture on good health practises and hygiene including preventive measures against ailments like Jaundice, Malaria, Viral Hepatitis and Enteric Fever was conducted on the occasion . The medical camp was well received by the local populace and has proved to be another step towards “Winning the Hearts and Minds”. Speaking on the occasion on behalf of the locals, Sarpanchs of the villages expressed their gratitude and appreciation towards Indian Army for its pledge towards addressing the medical problems of the locals. POONCH: Army also conducted a medical camp at Government Middle School, Dhargloon in Poonch District. A large numbers of patients underwent health checkup and were given consultation and medicines. A team of nine doctors from Army and Civil Administration including two lady doctors, a gynecologist and a dentist provided medical treatment to the people. The general populace in the area was benefitted by the camp.
