State Times News POONCH: As part of Mission Reach Out, army organised a Medical Camp at Village Salotri, District Poonch. An extensive door to door medical aid campaign was conducted by Indian Army to render medical aid at the far flung village of Salotri since it lies in close proximity to the Line of Control with under developed road and civic health infrastructure. The campaign aimed at ascertaining the prevalent health issues of the local populace and customising the focus of the medical camp through a team of Army Medical Doctors duly augmented by Medical Staff from District Health Organisation. Approximately, 350 local villagers including women, children and old aged persons availed the benefits of the special door to door medical camp. The camp also made a modest effort to increase the medical and health care awareness through simultaneous lectures on vital lifestyle related health issues.
