DODA: Army organised a Dangal Competition at Village Gandoh, Bhallesa in Doda District.
“A total of 80 wrestlers from Dinanagar, Gurdaspur, Punjab, Pathankot, Kathua, Jammu, Doda and Reasi participated in the competition which was based on knockout basis,” Defence Spokesperson, Lt Col Devender Anand said.
A large gathering of locals witnessed the event.
The aim of the event was to promote the essence of physical fitness, encourage competitive spirit and inspire local people to contest in local traditional sports, PRO Defence added.
